| 抄録: | Through the history of women's rights, Quaker women had an important role to acquire women's rights in the United States. Since Seneca Falls in 1848, they had kept advocating gender equality, women suffrage and discriminations of any forms in the society and appealed the Legislature to get being ratified. Why were Quaker women concerned with them so seriously? It may be interesting to pursue what made them do so and what were their backgrounds in connection with the social changes in the United States in the 19th and 20th centuries. |
