| 抄録: | Multilingualism has become increasingly common in modern society. Development of language ability can occur at any age, however, the reason for acquiring multiple languages can vary. The current study focuses on the language development of a group of adult
multilinguals, and how they came to acquire multiple languages, as well as their use of languages throughout their life and in their current daily life. The results suggest that it is possible for language to be acquired at any age and used as a primary daily language
or workplace language, as long as the context for using the language is valued or of great importance to the language user. |
